WHY CHOOSE A WATER PURIFICATION UNIT?

01

Purified Water for Drinking and Cooking

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a highly effective water purification process that uses a semi-permeable membrane lined with extremely fine pores to filter out unwanted molecules, contaminants, large particles, and unpleasant odors from water. This process removes impurities down to a molecular level, leaving only pure water (H2O) behind. It also eliminates harmful microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa, and algae, along with contaminants like chlorine, salt, dirt, and other pollutants. The result? Clean, pure, and refreshing water that’s perfect for drinking and cooking.

Through five stages of filtration, this unit is designed and tested to effectively removes impurities, contaminants, and unpleasant odors:

  • Stage 1: Sediment Pre-Filter – This stage removes large particles such as sand, silt, and dirt, ensuring that your water starts off clean.

  • Stage 2: Carbon Block Filter – Effectively eliminates high levels of chlorine, improves taste and odor, with high adsorption capability.

  • Stage 3: Granular Activated Carbon Filter – Further reduces chlorine, taste, and odors, using coconut shell carbon for enhanced purification.

  • Stage 4: Reverse Osmosis Membrane – The core of the system, it removes most types of contaminants for the purest water possible.

  • Stage 5: NSF Inline GAC Filter – Traps any remaining impurities before it reaches your tap, ensuring that your water is crystal clear.

Reverse osmosis is a meticulous filtration process, but it works slowly. To ensure that you always have fresh, clean water available, the system includes a 12L storage tank as a buffer, so you never have to wait.

Here's A

Closer Look

What contaminants does Reverse Osmosis remove?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), reverse osmosis systems are capable of filtering out a wide range of harmful substances. Here are some of the contaminants RO can remove from your water:

  • Dissolved Salts: Sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, and sulfates.

  • Chemicals: Chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, pesticides, herbicides, and volatile organic compounds (e.g., benzene, toluene).

  • Heavy Metals: Lead, chromium, copper, and other toxic metals.

  • Biological Contaminants: Bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and other microorganisms.

  • Particulate Matter: Sediment, silt, and other suspended solids.

  • Pharmaceuticals: Hormones, antibiotics, and other traces of medications.

  • Radiological Elements: Radium and uranium.

The reverse osmosis process ensures that the water that comes out on the other side is not only cleaner but also safe for drinking, cooking, and other household uses.

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a superior water purification method because it can remove up to 99.9% of all contaminants, sediments, and particles as small as 0.001 micron, which is far more effective than traditional carbon filtration, which can only remove particles as small as 1 micron.

Water can pick up all sorts of contaminants or high levels of total dissolved solids (TDS) as it travels through pipes. Installing an RO unit ensures that your water remains clean and free from harmful substances, safeguarding your health. Here are the key benefits:

The Advantages of Reverse Osmosis

04

Why should you consider installing a reverse osmosis unit in your home or business?

Health benefits & Improved taste:

  • RO units remove up to 99% of dissolved salts, particles, colloids, organic compounds, bacteria, and pathogens from water. This significantly reduces harmful contaminants, lowering your risk of exposure and supporting overall health. Additionally, by eliminating impurities like chlorine and sediments, RO water tastes much cleaner and fresher compared to regular tap water.

Cost-efficiency:

  • Investing in an RO unit can save you money over time, especially compared to buying bottled water. This offers a reliable source of healthy purified water at a fraction of the cost.

Sustainability:

  • RO units offer an environmentally friendly alternative to bottled water. If you currently rely on bottled water to stay hydrated, RO units provide a greener alternative to meet your needs. By purifying tap water at the point of use, RO units reduce the need for single-use plastic bottles, minimising pollution and landfill waste.

Versatility:

  • The Brighter 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis System is compact and fits neatly under the sink, containing all necessary components in one module. Suitable for both home and commercial use, it ensures access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and other needs.

Installation

At Brighter Water Filtration, we work closely with you to explore all water treatment solutions, ensuring improved water quality for both your home and business.

Our compact, under-sink reverse osmosis system is designed with precision to deliver high-quality water directly to your kitchen. The system features a meticulous filtration process that works gradually, but to ensure you always have fresh, clean water on hand, it includes a 12L storage tank as a buffer. This means you never have to wait for purified water. With a maximum output of 200L/day, the system provides filtered water on demand.

We manage the entire installation process with care and efficiency, often completing the setup in less than an hour. By the end of the day, you’ll be enjoying contaminant-free water straight from a dedicated faucet in your kitchen.

All of our filtration products are certified, thoroughly tested and exceed Australian standards. We stand behind our systems with a 3-year warranty on both the water filtration components and the workmanship, providing you with peace of mind.

To keep your Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit functioning at its best, regular maintenance is key. Over time, filters and membranes can become clogged with contaminants, reducing the system's ability to effectively purify your water. By staying on top of routine maintenance, you can extend the lifespan of your RO unit and ensure the water you drink remains clean and tasty.

Long-Lasting Performance with Minimal Maintenance

06

To ensure optimal performance, we recommend filter changes every 12 to 24 months, depending on your water usage and the contaminants in your area. To make maintenance simple, we offer two convenient servicing options with water filter replacement kits:

  • Yearly Service - This service includes the replacement of the first three stages of filtration every year.

  • Alternate Yearly Service - This more comprehensive option includes the replacement of all five stages, the fourth and fifth stages replaced every two years.

No matter which service option is required, we will send you annual reminders to help keep your system running smoothly.

Every house and suburb is different, and we rely on your feedback to ensure optimal performance. If you notice any change in water pressure, taste, or smell, you may need to change the filters earlier. We’re here to help you maintain the highest water quality throughout your kitchen - year after year!
